Cutting, Scoring, and Creasing
Precision is key in print finishing. Our guillotine cutting, rotary scoring, and creasing services ensure your materials have clean, professional edges and folds.
Following the offset or digital printing process, many materials need to be guillotine cut to what is called a final trim size. These sheets may also need to be fed through a rotary scoring machine, a blunt blade creasing machine, or be fed through a die-cutting machine for any of these processes to be completed.

At Kase Printing, we have a multi-step quality control process to ensure that every bound product meets our high standards. This includes:
- Pre-production checks: Reviewing print files and digital proofs to catch potential issues before submitting to our customer for approval for printing.
- On-press quality control: Closed-loop computerized InPress color monitoring of print consistency and alignment during the production stage.
- Binding precision checks: Ensuring proper page alignment and folding panel alignment, proper margins, proper trim size, proper adhesive pull strength (for perfect binding), and secure page fastening (for saddle-stitching, wire-o, and spiral binding).
- Final inspection: Finished product is manually inspected at set sampling intervals for defects such as misaligned pages, weak bindings, or finishing imperfections before being packaged and shipped.
This rigorous process promises that our customers will receive only high-quality, defect-free materials.
